The Iowa Plains Local Workforce Development Area is a key vehicle for providing workforce development services in 42 counties in Western Iowa. Guided by the Iowa State Workforce Development Board, Iowa Plains provides services to Iowa job seekers through the areaβs IowaWORKS centers.
We are seeking employers from the 42-county local area who are interested in providing visionary leadership and innovative ideas to enhance our workforce services to our jobseekers and our employers. Please check out our initial committee meeting and training below!
